* After department reorganization I did get the same responsibilities as Hardware Integrator Engine systems except for the harness part, while the harness part was most challenging regarding planning, timing/ content and organization within DAF and with Leoni as supplier.

* Determine project priorities/planning for the ECS-HW (senior) engineers for sensors, actuators and engine harnesses * Determine project priorities/planning for the ECS-SW (senior) engineers for engine software platforms * Intensive cooperation with Production Engineering regarding assembly issues for harnesses, sensors, actuators and software. * Cooperation with After Sales regarding serviceability regarding new software, calibration updates, sensors/ actuators and harnesses * Weekly supplier meetings regarding project timing and logistics

* Define and determine engine harnesses layout and components for each project phase * Definition of the vehicle interfacing * Determine project priorities/planning for the ECS-HW (senior) engineers for sensors, actuators and engine harnesses * Intensive cooperation with PE regarding assembly issues for harnesses, sensors and actuators * Cooperation with After Sales regarding serviceability of harnesses, sensors and actuators * Weekly supplier meetings regarding project timings and logistics

* Support Sales (logistics, warranty, coulance) department towards Bus OEMs at the back office and via OEM visits * Determine DAF policies regarding extensive warranty to Bus OEM's, DAF dealers. * Support claim processes and DAF field actions. * Support for making up, After Sales contracts for DAF Components OEM's. * Initiate and realise adjustments in DAF service dealer network to improve service level for DAF Components customers.

* Definition of vehicle functions for DAF electronic systems (especially Engine Management systems) to DAF suppliers. * Definition of ON- and OFF Board diagnostics for drive line systems * Definition of J1939 CAN communication between Engine management systems and other vehicle systems. Execute verification CAN-network measurements. * Support vehicle test department at functional vehicle tests

* Responsible for implementation of "Driver Information Module" in the Volvo S40/ V40. * Implementation from "ON- and OFF Board Diagnostics" of the "Central Electronic Unit" * Overall support to other colleagues of "ON and OFF Board Diagnostics" for other vehicle electrical systems.

* Writing specifications for automotive diagnostic tools and engine testers * Adjust application software regarding these diagnostic tools and testers * Testing software and hardware at dealers, distributors and car manufacturers.
